Gov. Brian Kemp is facing a challenge from former Senator David Perdue, who was recruited by former president Donald J. Trump to unseat Mr. Kemp after he refused to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia. The winner will face Stacey Abrams, a Democrat who is unopposed in her primary, in the general election.
